Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. Transcription runs entirely on your machine using the Whisper model you've downloaded. Once the model is cached, no network connection is required.

What do I get when I buy?

You get compiled installers for all 3 platforms: Linux (.AppImage), macOS (.dmg), and Windows (.exe). No Python installation required — just download and run.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free includes the base Whisper model, 7-day rolling history, and in-session word corrections. Pro ($29.99 one-time) unlocks all models, unlimited history, dictionary persistence, full stats, and priority support.

Activating Pro

After purchasing Agent Wispr, you receive a license key by email. Follow the steps below to activate Pro on any device.

Step 1 — Find your license key

Check the confirmation email sent to the address you used at checkout. The key looks like this:

you@example.com:pro:never:a1b2c3d4e5f6g7h8

You can also find it on your download page (/download/your-order-id).

Step 2 — Open Settings

Right-click the Agent Wispr floating widget and choose Settings...

Step 3 — Go to the About tab

Click the About tab at the bottom of the Settings panel.

Step 4 — Paste and activate

Paste your license key into the License Key field.
Click Activate.

You will see the edition badge change from Free Edition to Pro Edition. The Pro features unlock immediately — no restart required.

Moving to a new device

Your license is not tied to a specific machine. Repeat Steps 2–4 on any computer where you install Agent Wispr. The same key works on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

"Invalid license key"

Make sure you copied the full key including the email prefix and the 16-character signature at the end.
Keys are case-insensitive but must not have extra spaces or line breaks.

I lost my license key email

Reply to your original purchase confirmation and we can resend it. Alternatively, visit your original download link — the license key is displayed there for the lifetime of the download token (7 days).

If your download token has expired, contact support at joshlehman.ca with your order ID.
