Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. Transcription runs entirely on your machine using the local model you've downloaded. Once the model is cached, no network connection is required.

What do I get when I buy?

You get compiled installers for all 3 platforms: Linux (.AppImage), macOS (.dmg), and Windows (.exe). No Python installation required — just download and run.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free includes the base model and 7-day trial with all features. Pro ($19/mo or $190/yr) unlocks all local models, unlimited history, dictionary persistence, full stats, and priority support.

Activating Pro

Agent Wispr Pro is tied to your account, not a license key. Buying a subscription on the pricing page signs you in with GitHub and starts checkout in one flow — follow the steps below to activate Pro inside the desktop app itself.

Step 1 — Open Settings

Right-click the Agent Wispr floating widget and choose Settings...

Step 2 — Go to the About tab

Click the About tab at the bottom of the Settings panel.

Step 3 — Sign in

Click Sign in with GitHub. This opens the same account used at checkout. Once signed in, Agent Wispr checks your subscription status automatically.

You will see the edition badge change from Free Edition to Pro Edition. The Pro features unlock immediately — no restart required.

Moving to a new device

Pro is tied to your account, not a specific machine. Repeat Steps 1–3 and sign in with the same GitHub account on any computer where you install Agent Wispr. Works on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Troubleshooting

Pro isn't unlocking after I signed in

Sign out and back in from the About tab to force a fresh subscription check. If it still shows Free Edition, confirm the subscription is active on the pricing page using the same GitHub account.
